The Silver Mullet Band pays tribute to one of the most iconic musicians of our time, Bob Seger.
Covering both the hits and select B sides,
The Silver Mullet Band delivers a show that captures the soul and spirit of this iconic artist with a narrative that traces his best moments in time.
Veteran Twin Cities rocker Karl Young channels the look and sound of Bob and his band is now offering a fitting salute and a touch of humor.
The band includes...
Guitarist/vocals
Daniel App,
Daniel came to us via Florida and a great Tom Petty tribute band.
Tom and Bob were fast friends so this is a perfect match.
Daniels soaring solo on Like A Rock is truly worth the price of admission.
Drummer/vocals
Mark Medcalf,
Mark has been the time keeper of the Twin Cities most memorable rockers Slave Raider and The Dell Counts.
We are pleased to have him on our side.
Bass/vocals
Andy Olsen
Andy brings a a sense of balance and calm to the rhythm section holding down the roots of the band.
Keyboardist
Ted Greenbaum
Ted brings a finesse to our sound with his unparalleled musicianship and classic voicing of some of the most iconic keyboard sounds in Bob Segers music.
Sax/ percussion
Brian "Zoot' Simonds
Zoot holds the most prestigious position in our band.
His solos fill the night and being the keeper of flame of one of the greatest sideman in the world the late Alto Reed
Zoots tone and style will bring a warmth to your soul.
Vocalist
Phyllis Rutter.
Her backing vocals add a style and class we needed.
With a career spanning six decades, Seger has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time.
A roots rocker with a classic raspy, powerful voice, Seger wrote and recorded songs that dealt with love, women, and blue-collar themes, and is one of the best-known examples of a heartland rock artist.
His many hits include "Night Moves", "Turn the Page", "Mainstreet", "Hollywood Nights", "Shame on the Moon" and "Roll Me Away".
He also co-wrote the Eagles' number-one hit "Heartache Tonight", and his recording of "Old Time Rock and Roll" was named one of the Songs of the Century.
We would be honored to have you as our guest at any of our shows.
